Kandersteg International Scout Centre operates as a non-profit organisation, entirely dependent on donations to maintain and enhance the Centre’s ten individual buildings.
In total, the Centre has an overnight capacity of around 400 guests and a 170’000 square metre campsite accommodating 1’500 Scouts and Guides. This all needs to be continuously maintained and developed to ensure that the Centre can operate for years to come.
Throughout the year, we will gather in Kandersteg to celebrate 100 years of inspiring young people to create a better world.
Our vision is that the centenary will be the beginning of the next 100 years with Baden-Powell’s dream of a Permanent Mini Jamboree.
Kandersteg International Scout Centre has been run by volunteers since 1923. Join the team that creates lifelong memories.
