The main celebration happens during Summer, where we will work to bring more nationalities to Kandersteg than ever before.
* All prices are in Swiss Francs ( CHF ) and include tourist tax.
We want KISC to be accessible to as many people as possible, that’s why we follow WOSM’s guidelines on fees. This means if you’re from a category A, B or C country you can get a discount of up to 75% on your accomodation. To find out which category your country belongs to, check out www.scout.org.
Anyone opting to book “indoor accommodation” will be allocated to one of the following buildings: Old Chalet, Sunneblick, Tower, YMCA, Villa Forree, Schweizerhaus based on the most suitable allocations.
* Food supply: This means that we will provide you with the ingredients and the recipe to be able to make your own food. A great option for those staying on the campsite or in one of our group buildings.
* Camping: This type of accommodation requires you to bring tents and any other needed equipment for camping. You can rent camping equipment and tents at the center but we have a very limited number.
Throughout the year, we will gather in Kandersteg to celebrate 100 years of inspiring young people to create a better world.
Our vision is that the centenary will be the beginning of the next 100 years with Baden-Powell’s dream of a Permanent Mini Jamboree.
Kandersteg International Scout Centre has been run by volunteers since 1923. Join the team that creates lifelong memories.
